Margarette was the daughter of James and Anna West Watson. She married James P. Laymon on February 1, 1870 in Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE. They were the parents of: Charles Elmer, David Abraham, James "Oscar", Henry Allen and Addie May.

Death of Mrs. Laymon
Mrs. J. P. Laymon of 1309 North Cottonwood street died at 10 o'clock this morning after an illness of four months. She was 62 years old and had resided in Iola about 14 years. She is survived by her husband and six children. Funeral services will be held from the house at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and burial will be made in Highland Cemetery.

Contributed: Margaret Watson was born March 5, 1849, and died January 16, 1911, aged 61 years, 10 months and 19 days. She was married February 1, 1870, to J. P. Laymon to which union nine children were born, three of who preceded the mother to the grave.
Mrs. Laymon is survived by her husband, four sons, and two daughters and her loss is mourned also by a host of friends. Funeral service was held at the family home at two o'clock yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. I. B. Prather.
