Larry F. Verwiebe
Larry F. Verwiebe, 64, Springfield, died at 3:55 a.m. Sunday, October 10, 2004, in his home. He was born March 18, 1940, in Lutherville, Ark., to Anthony and Ollie Ada (Pearson) Verwiebe. Larry was married to Anna Mae Embring May 9, 1962. He was formerly employed as a newspaper printer. Larry was a member of the Harrison Deaf Club, Harrison, Ark., the Sertoma Club, Springfield, and the Springfield Deaf Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding motorcycles. A daughter, Ada, his parents, and a sister, preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons, Vern Verwiebe, Springfield, and Howard Verwiebe, Lamar, Ark.; three daughters, Melinda Baurichter, Springfield, Yvonne Verwiebe, Crane, and Dianna Wright, Phoenix, Ariz.; and lots of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. Burial will follow in Garoutte Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 12 noon until service time. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Meadors Funeral Home for the Larry Verwiebe fund.
