William Albert Verwiebe, 77, of Clarksville died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.


He was retired from the logging and Boeing industry, Baptist, son of the late Anthony Albert and Ollie Pearson Verwiebe, and was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Verwiebe, and three sisters, Zelda Albee, Helen Standridge, and Maralee Verwiebe.


Survivors include his wife, Sandra Inman Verwiebe; three daughters, Cindy Roberts and husband, Jim, of Lamar, and Naomi Hodges and husband, Kelly, and Dottie Verwiebe, all of Clarksville; three brothers, Carl Verwiebe of Clarksville, Sonny Verwiebe of California, and Johnny Verwiebe of Lamar; two sisters, Nell Adams of Clarksville and Ruby Pfeifer of Washington; three grandchildren, Kaleb Verwiebe of Clarksville, Spc. William Albert Groboski and wife, Brittany, of Germany, and Darren Groboski of North Carolina; one great-grandchild, Hunter Groboski of Lavaca; and numerous nieces and nephews.


A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
