CRANDALL, Albertine Lore (Vondal) - Died in Santa Rosa, May 2, 1993. Beloved mother of Arthur Vondal Crandall of Santa Rosa and William Green Crandall of Morrison, Colorado. Dear mother-in-law of Betty Ann Crandall of Santa Rosa and Marian Crandall of Morrison, Colorado. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren who knew her as "Gonkey": Michelle Dauenhauer and Roxanne Baker both of Kalispell, Montana; William Greene Crandall of Missoula, Montana; Robert Detten Crandall of Lusby, Maryland; Mary Catharine Lampert of Puyallup, Washington; Beth Rotteveel of Dixon, California; Yvonne Petrunin of Reno, Nevada; Arlynne Crandall of Richmond, California; Kay Crandall of Denver, Colorado; and Greg Crandall of Atlanta, Georgia. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

Albertine's parents, Arthur and Eugenie Vondal, homesteaded in Wallhalla, North Dakota where Albertine grew up, one of nine children. She received her RN from Minneapolis General Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There she met her husband, Dr. William Green Crandall. They lived in South Dakota, Illinois, Kansas, Texas, New York, Oklahoma, Colorado, Montana and, finally, California. Dr. Crandall was a surgeon with the Veteran's Administration during this time.

Albertine has been in Santa Rosa since 1980, where she lived with her son, Arthur. A parishioner of St. Eugene's Cathedral. A native of Wallhalla, ND. Age 95 years.

Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Rite Service on Thursday, May 6, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. at Lafferty & Smith Colonial Chapel, 4321 Sonoma Hwy., Santa Rosa. Friends are also invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at the Ursuline Convent Chapel, 400 Angela Drive, at 10:30a.m. on Friday, May 7, 1993.

Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Missoula, Montana. Friends may call at the Colonial Chapel afater 12 noon on Thursday for visitation.
