Ottilia Steffes was the daughter of John Steffes 1851 and Anna Marie Ditter.

Ottilia married Peter Joseph Abhold, the son of Joseph Abhold 1857 and Maria A Kramer, on November 9, 1909 in Mount Calvary, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

The couple lived in Marshfield, Wisconsin. They had four children: Albert P 1910, Agnes F 1914-1922, Norbert William 1915, and Leander J 1917 (died as a child).

After Ottilia died in 1924, Peter remarried Martha Fritz in 1927, and had two more children.
