Norbert W. Abhold, 64, of Route 2, Campbellsport, in the Town of Osceola, farmer and mink rancher for over 40 years, died.at 8:23 p.m. Saturday. Oct. 13, 1979, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was dead on arrival.

He was born Oct. 11, 1915, at Mount Calvary, a son of the late Peter and Ottilia Steffes Abhold. He married Alma Simon at Johnsburg on Aug. 16, 1938.

Mr. Abhold was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church at Armstrong and Kettle Moraine Mink Breeders Association.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Dwight (Joan) Weiser of Route 3, Mrs. Duane (Sue) Johnson of Route 2 and Mrs. David (Mary) Wagner Jr. of Fond du Lac; two sons, Thomas A. of Route 1, Eden, and Peter of Route 2, Campbellsport; and eight grandchildren.

Also surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. Martha Abhold of Mount Calvary; and two half-brothers, Wilfred Abhold of Mount Calvary and Franklin Abhold of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Church, Armstrong. The Rev. Joseph Fischer, the Rev. Michael Shea, the Rev. Leo Ott and the Kev. Martin Simon will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends of Mr. Abhold may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
