Ruby Stanley, 92, of Ardmore, OK, formerly of Marietta, OK, was born September 27, 1919 at Grady, OK, the daughter of Isom Edmond and Vina Victoria Tudor Campbell. She passed away Saturday, July 14, in an Ardmore healthcare facility.
Ruby had been a resident of Love County most of her life. She and Charles Alfred Stanley were married in Marietta on June 20, 1936, and he preceded her in death on December 16, 1992. In addition to being a homemaker, she was employed as a seamstress at Marietta Sportswear for 40 years. Mrs. Stanley was a member of the Marsden Baptist Church
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; infant son, Bobby Stanley; grandson, Chuck Stanley in 1981; four brothers, Holly, Graham, Willie and Wayne Campbell; and a sister, Verna McNeely.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Runia Stanley of Silsbee, TX and Terry and Rose Stanley of Greenville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Austin Reed of Ardmore, Joan and Jerry Stone of Horseshoe Bay, TX and Julie "Ginger" and Joe Farnan of Norman, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Pearl Campbell of Enville, OK; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
