Services for Willie Franklin Campbell, 83, were Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Eastside Baptist Church. Officiating was Rev. Claude Williams, minister of the Marsden Baptist Church.
Born June 24, 1911, at Antlers, Mr. Campbell died March 11, 1995, in the Memorial Hospital, Ardmore. He was the son of Isam Edmond and Vina Victoria Tudor Campbell.
A resident of Love County most of his life, Mr. Campbell was a farmer and rancher. He married Mary West September 27, 1950, at Marietta. Mr. Campbell was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Campbell of the home at Overbrook; a son, Frank Campbell of Overbrook; a daughter, Mary Hall of Marietta; four brothers, Holley Campbell of Overbrook, Graham Campbell and Jack Campbell of Marietta, and Wayne Campbell of Pauls Valley; two sisters, Ruby Stanley and Vernia McNeely of Marietta; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma Jean Campbell, on February 16, 1979.
Interment was in the McAlister Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were William Paul Landrum, Bill Landrum, James Landrum, Charles Campbell, Ernest Riddle and Max Clark.
