John E. Adelblue, 68, of Ohio City, O., a retired carpenter and former Decatur General Electric Co. employee, died at 4 a.m. Thursday in El Paso, Tex., where he was visiting a daughter.
Born March 24, 1906, in Gladwin, Mich., he was a son of Emmet and Sarah Neiford-Adelblue.
Surviving are two sons, Richard of Ohio City and John of Canby, Ore,; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Gunter of Van Wert, O.; Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Eyanson of El Paso, Tex.; Mrs. Martha Coutant of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Roberts of Ohio City; four brothers, Russell of Wren, O.; George and Clarence of Ohio City, and Maynard of Van Wert; and 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Cowan & Son funeral home with Rev. Norman Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in the Ohio City Woodlawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
