SERVICES HERE FOR FORMER RESIDENT

Ray O. Adleblue, 57, passed away suddenly while visiting at the home of his cousin, Ray D. Flores, in Saginaw, on Monday, July 24.

Mr. Adleblue was born in Ohio City, Ohio, on August 14, 1893, and came to Gladwin with his parents as a child of six. He made his home here until he was 21 years old, then moved to Higgins Lake. The past five year he has been in Charlevoix and several other cities, settling in Kawkawlin. On April 30, 1935, he married Miss Gladys Campbell, who survives him.

Besides his wife, Mr. Adleblue leaves seven brothers, Charles, of Flin, Jess, of Van Wert, Ohio, Elmer, of Bowen City, Russell and John, of Decatur, Indiana, and George and William of Ohio City, Ohio; also three sisters, Mrs. Chloe Fries, of Gladwin, Mrs. Zula Grams, of Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Bessie Roberts, of Van Wert, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held from Hall Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Sidney S. Rood, pastor of St. Paul's Episcopal church, will officiate and burial will be made in the Highland cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 7-26/1950.
