Fay LaRue Sutherland Holman, age 83, passed away April 6, 1999 in Salt Lake City, UT.
Born August 25, 1915 in Garfield, UT to Joseph Rex and Bertha Andrus Sutherland. Married Elmo Henry Holman January 31, 1935 in Coalville, Utah. He passed away July 22, 1983. She was a member of the LDS Church, an employee/volunteer for the SL Blind Center, a member of the PBX Club, former employee of the SL Co. Hospital. She was a member of the SL Council of Women and a Civil Defense Volunteer. She enjoyed collecting antiques and being outdoors with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister as she cared for her family. Survivors: sons, Rex, Moab; Roy (Janet), Murray; Ray (Joy), Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Jensen, and Lorraine Bradshaw both of Salt Lake City.
Graveside services Saturday 11 a.m., April 10, 1999 at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 South. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St. and Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
