Lorraine S. Bradshaw, 85, of Sandy, died December 1, 2003 at St. Mark's Hospital following a short illness.

She was born December 7, 1917 in Garfield, Utah to Joseph Rex Sutherland and Bertha Andrus Sutherland. Married Jack H. Bradshaw, November 22, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together, they raised a family, built a business and spent many happy years in Richfield, Utah until his passing in 1968. Her later years were spent in Holladay and Sandy near her family, to whom she was 100% devoted.

She attended East High and the U of U, graduating in the Arts. She was known for her art and sewing talent and particularly for her skills as a wonderful cook. She was a member of the LDS church and served in many positions, a favorite being the 12 years with the little children in her Sunbeam class. She also volunteered for years with the Festival of the Trees. Most often she could be found working behind the scenes in her quiet unassuming way.

Survived by her children: Craig (Annette), Sandy, UT; Bonnie (David) Goddard, Sandy, UT; Rick (Marie), Draper, UT; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie S. Jensen, Salt Lake. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, LaRue S. Holman.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, 1:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. where friends may call 12-1:15 p.m. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
