DODGEVILLE — Emma A. Weber, age 78, of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, June 18, 1988, at Oregon Manor Nursing Home, after a long illness. The former Emma Erickson was born in Highland Township on April 3, 1910, to Erick and Lena (Bakken) Erickson. She married Renzie Weber on September 12, 1928, and the couple farmed in the Highland and Ridgeway areas until moving to Dodgeville in 1966. She was preceded in death by her husband, Renzie, on May 23, 1981; two daughters, Bernice Brennum, in 1953, and Rosella Phillips, in 1980; two sons, LaVern, in 1934, and Norman, in 1976; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oscar Erickson, in 1982, and Orville Erickson, in 1959; and a sister, Stella Nelson. She is survived by three sons, Nelmer (June) of Dousman, Joseph (Ellen) of Appleton, and Milan (Rita) of McFarland; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Isabelle) Rakow of Cottage Grove, Mrs. Stanley (Alvina) Phillips of DeForest, and Mrs. Kenneth (Ardella) Olson of Oregon; 30 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 21, 1988, at LULLOFF-PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, in Dodgeville. Reverend Verlyn Harr will officiate. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, on Monday, June 20, 1988, from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m.
