Many thanks to my good friend Bill Murray for taking pictures of many of my Gillespie relatives grave markers. You are fantastic.

In Memory of:

LOU Gillespie****
I was lost but now I'm found.
Never to be forgotten again.

Died at 2 months old.

My Great Aunt

First child of Henry Calhoun Gillespie and Josephine Texas Gillespie. Sister of: Baby Gillespie, Cora Gillespie, Zora Gillespie, Maude Gillespie- Gaydon, Onest Gillespie, Mamie Gillespie- Melton.
It was soooo exciting to find this family. I was looking for my great gramdma Josephine Texas Gillespie and when I found her I found three children that I didn't know about and Grandmas parents. I put a post out on Rootsweb and Bill Murray answered it and found them and went to the cemetery and took pictures of the markers.
I wrote a letter to the local newspaper and they ran it and I got a lot of additional information from that letter.
It is as if they were lost for all those years and
NOW THEY LIVE AGAIN !!!!

Note...
Stephens County was Franklin County until after 1900 when they took part of the County and named it Stephens.
