Mary E. Faidley, 73, of Meyersdale, died Oct. 25, 1989, at Meyersdale Manor. She was born Sept. 5, 1916, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Lodgson) Crissinger. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and a brother: Bertha, Jean, Florence and Gordon. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Alex "Cub," and these children: Christine, wife of Luther Bowman, Meyersdale RD 4; Henry, Meyersdale; Charles, Meyersdale RD 3., and William of Greensburg; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a sister of Henry Crissinger, Rita Brenneman, Irene Zakucia and Julia Miller, all of Meyersdale; Betty Pullman and Phyllis Cunningham, both of Baltimore, Md.; Carol Duppstadt of Casselburg, Fla., and Harvey Crissinger of Ein, Tenn. She was a member of the Independent Tabernacle Church of Greensburg. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, with Bishop Ervin Knieriem officiating. Interment, Lichty Cemetery.
