Mrs. Anna Jean Bane, 40, of RR 2, Bucyrus, Ohio who had undergone open heart surgery last May, died at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday in University Hospital, Columbus. She had last entered the hospital April 10.

Born Dec. 10, 1928, in Meyersdale. Pa., her parents were Henry and Anna Logsdon Crissinger, both deceased. She was married Aug. 29, 1947, to Harry Bane, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Robin, 13; two brothers, Henry and Harvey E. Crissinger, both of Meyersdale; and nine sisters. Mrs. Mary Faidley of Greensburg, Pa., Mrs. Bertha Sims of Gadsden, Ala., Mrs. Sara Brenneman of Elyria, Mrs. Phyllis Cunningham and Mrs. Betty Race of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Julia Keslar, Mrs. Etta Lewis and Mrs. Irene Zakucia, all of Meyersdale, and Mrs. Carol Duppstadt of Akron.

She moved to Bucyrus 10 years ago from Millsboro, Pa., and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at North Robinson and the Lutheran Church Women.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Burkus Funeral Home, Millsboro, PA with burial in Millsboro Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and night at Wise Funeral Home, Bucyrus, OH and Friday at Burkus.
