Thomas W. Lewis
Eckhart - Thomas W. (Tucker) Lewis, 80, of here, died today
in Sacred Heart Hospital where he had been
a patient for five days.
Born here, he was the son of the late Abraham and Martha (Willison) Lewis. He was a retired coal miner.
His wife, Mrs. Florence (White) Lewis, preceded him in death on Sept. 17, 1980.
He is survived by one son, Ralph Lewis, Brooklyn, Mich, two daughters, Miss Dorothy E. Lewis and Mrs.
Martha Hostetler, both at home, one brother, William Lewis, here, five grandchildren and ten great-grand
children.
He was a veteran of World War l, a member of Farrady Post 24, American Legion, and Frostburg Lodge
348, LOO Moose.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Thomas is buried in Eckhart Mines Cemetery.
