Sarah White Succumbs - - OAKLAND, May 20 -- Miss Sarah Catherine White, 84, died at her home, Oak Street, yesterday about noon, after an illness of two days.
She was born in Oakland September 30, 1854, a daughter of the later Rowan and Margaret White, and lived here all her life. She was a member of the Methodist church, having joined at a young age.
She is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Delia Slabaugh, Akron, O.; Miss Bertha White, Charles E. White, and George D. White, all of Oakland. (Transcribed by Ronn E. Friend)

The 1900 Census records her birth as September 30, 1854 which matches the date listed in her obituary. The obituary notes her death as May 19, 1939.
