MISS MARIAN ROBERTA WHITE – Miss Marian Roberta White, aged 74, died last Friday evening October 12, about 9:30 o'clock, after an illness of fourteen years. During twelve of those years she had been unable to walk.

The deceased was a daughter of the late Rowan and Margaret Waltz White and was born in this county January 9, 1871. She was a member of the Methodist church of Oakland.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Delia Slabaugh, Akron, Ohio, fourteen nephews and ten nieces.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Bolden Funeral Home with Rev Denver C. Pickens, D.D., pastor of St. Paul's Methodist church, officiating, assisted by Rev. George D. Birk, Lutheran pastor. Interment was in the Oakland cemetery. Pallbearers were Alva G. Gortner, Cecil Smith, L. M. Fraley, Leo Helbig, Elza Bray, and Albert Sisk.

Among those attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Shank, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Slaubaugh, Mrs. Robert Greathouse, Mrs. Blaine Newton and Lemone Slabaugh, Akron, Ohio;, Mrs. Fred Rexrode, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Elmo Browning, Fairmont, W. Va.; Mrs. Margaret Rodeheaver, Richmond, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur White, Mrs. Harry Rasche, Misses Flo and Mabel White, Uniontown, Pa., nieces and nephews of the deceased; and Mrs. E. A.
