For J.C. Tuggle
Held On Sunday


Funeral services for Jimmie C. Tuggle, 18, who was killed in a car accident Thursday near Galveston, Texas, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Green-Kleinegger chapel of Minden. Chaplain J.T. Duvall of Barksdale field officiated. Burial was in Pine Grove cemetery.

Mr. Tuggle had been working for the past eight months in Galveston with the U.S. Engineers. According to an associated press dispatch, Mr. Tuggle was thrown 80 feet when his automobile swerved off the new ferry road located near Galveston.

He was a member of a crew of the USS Biddle, United States Engineering corps dredge.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Alice Tuggle of Minden; four brothers, R.C. Tuggle of Minden, A.K. Tuggle of Springhill, L.M. Tuggle of Augusta, Ga., and W.C. Tuggle of Homer; three sisters, Mrs. J.I. Lay, Mrs. Glenn R. Wrenn, and Miss Della Tuggle, all of Minden.
