Reuben P. Tuggle, farmer and resident of Germantown for the past 10 years, died of pneumonia Christmass eve at 6:50 p.m. after an eight day illness.

The deceased was 54 years old and was born near Homer where he lived before moving to Webster parish. He is survived by the following: his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Tuggle; one sister, Mrs. Harper Shaw; three brothers, Henry, Almer and Clyde, all of Homer. He is also survived by his wife, and three daughters, Mary, Mabel and Della; five sons, Willie of Homer, and Sam, Auburn, Leonard and Jimmy, and two grandchildren, Philip and Bernice Tuggle of Homer.

The deceased was buried by Rev. B.C. Taylor, pastor of the Homer Methodist church. Interment was in the Tuggle family cemetery with services held at the home of his mother near Homer.
