Josephine M. Massarelli, a 56-year Millbrook resident, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Sharon Hospital. She was She was born Jan. 25, 1904, in Brooklyn, to Paolo and Annunziata Montana Caracappa. In September 1932, in Brooklyn, she married John Massarelli, who died in 1966. She is survived by four daughters, Fannie Anderson and Dolly Massarelli, both of Millbrook, Anna DiStefano of Poughkeepsie and Nancy Sessa of Pleasant Valley; three sons John Massarelli of Hyde Park, Vincent Massarelli of Deltona, Fla. and Paul Massarelli of Millbrook; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A son, Thomas Massarelli, died in 1945.
