Paul J Massarelli of Burlington, Vermont passed away at his home on April 1, 2017.

Paul was born on June 16, 1933 and grew up in Millbrook, New York. He served his country in the Army in the 1950's, and he went on to own two businesses. Eventually Paul started working for the Millbrook Water Department, and he retired to Lake Mary, Florida after 20 years of service. Ten years into retirement Paul moved North again to be close to his daughter and her family. He rarely missed a Sunday with them.

Paul was an avid bowler and loved to read books and watch classic movies. He especially liked his lunches with all of his friends at the University Mall.

Paul is survived by his daughter and her husband, and their two daughters, his brother, his sister and several nieces and nephews.

Paul was predeceased by his brothers John and Thomas and his sisters Josephine, Nancy and Fannie.

In honoring Paul's wishes, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at a date to be determined later. Ready Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with the arrangements.
