Lewis T. Adams married around 1816 in Scott Co., KY to an Elizabeth (Owen?) He is listed on 1814 Tax List of Scott Co., KY. Fire destroyed all marriage record prior to 1838 in Courthouse in Georgetown,
Scott Co., Kentucky.
Land Grant Nov. 20, 1826 signed by President John Quincy Adams March 20, 1827, 80 ac land in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN.
Probate of Estate is in Hancock Co., IN. Book A, page 60, 13 May, 1844, Adm. of Estate, Final Settlement Book 1 page 196, son Alfred Adams Administrator of Estate. Alfred Adams was his oldest child.
He and wife Elizabeth had 7 known children:
