Frederick C. Schafer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry D. Schafer, of Washington Heights, died at 2:15 this morning from enlargement of the spleen, after an illness of six months.
He would have been five years of age in December. About a month ago he underwent an operation in the Easton Hospital and after being under treatment there for a week was brought home.
He attended the Seitzville Sunday School.
