Henry D. Schafer Jr., 53, proprietor of Schafer's Cafe, died at 9:30 a.m. today at his home, 33 North Fourth Street, after an illness of six months.
Mr. Schafer was born in Easton, a son of the late Henry D. and Alice Schafer, and had lived in Easton all his life. He has been in business in North Fourth Street for the last 13 years.
Mr. Schafer was a member of Easton Lodge No. 45, Loyal Order of Moose, Easton Aerie No. 111, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Knights of Pythias.
