Died, at the home of her son, Samuel Ohl, southwest of town, November 29, 1904, Mrs. Mary Ohl.
Mary Ohl was born in Schnylkill county, Pennsylvania, May 31, 1826, and departed this life November 29, 1904, aged 78 years, 5 months and 29 days. Her parents came to Ohio in 1838 and settled in Mifflin township, Richland county, Ohio. She was married in 1846 to Stephen Ohl, who died in 1881. There were born twelve children, nine of whom survive her. She had thirty-four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She united with the German Lutheran Church in her early youth, and remained faithful to that church as long as there was a church, where she could attend. In her last illness she expressed her hope in God. She had a good will for all and no fear of death, and peacefully passed away to the Great Beyond
