Christina "Tena" was the sixth of twelve children born to Abraham and Christina (Zehner) Swartz. Her siblings were:

"Tena" married John C. Snyder, son of Peter and Drucilla Susanna (Metcalf) Snyder, on 2 December 1841 in Richland Co, OH. They became the parents of the following eight children:

2. Abraham, b. 28 Sept 1844
3. Samuel D., b. 19 March 1850
4. Samantha, b. 10 July 1853
5. Rachel C., b. 1854
6. John, b. 1858
7. Sarah Eloise, b. 10 May 1861
8. William C., b. 11 March 1863

Note: It is believe she is buried in the Emanuel Cemetery in Richland Co., OH, but no proof has been found yet.
