Treasured youngest son of Melville and Marion Finlayson of Elmhurst, Illinois. Beloved brother of Marnie, Duncan, Connie, Douglas, Helen Estelle, Nancy, Dorothy, Margaret and Patricia (Patsy) Finlayson. Loving husband of Rose Rita (Fitzgerald) Finlayson of Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Cherished father of five daughters: Colleen, Barbara, Rochelle, Mary and Theresa Finlayson. He also has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. James acquired the nickname "Donald" as a young child and, despite his protests, it stuck so well that virtually no one outside the family knew that his real name was James. But, "Don" did fit him especially well.
And, I think Don would like it noted here that he was a lifelong Chicago White Sox Fan!
