Mrs. Marlie Ellinger Died Tuesday Afternoon
Mrs. Alice Rothrock Ellinger of Clearfield, wife of Marlie Ellinger, died in the Memorial Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, June 16. The daughter of Curtin and Sara Rothrock, the deceased was born in Centre Hill on January 26, 1900, making her age 31 years, four months and 20 days at the time of her death.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Lester Ellinger, Mrs. Lynn Tiedgen, Mrs. George Shearer, and Mrs. Carl Phillips, all of Clearfield; Mrs. Edward Green and John Keenan of Philadelphia; Edward of Bigler; Howard, O.L., Roy and Boyd all at home. Two step-sons William and John also survive.
Before coming to Clearfield a number of years ago, where she made a host of friends who have learned to love her, Mrs. Ellinger spent most of her life in Centre Hill, where she was a prominent and faithful member of the M. E. Church.
Funeral serves will be held from the home of her sister, Mrs. Lester Ellinger, 489 Eighth Street, on Friday morning June 19, at 10:00 o'clock. Rev. J. S. Colledge in charge. Interment in Centre Hill.
