Harold L. Baggerly, 90, of Belton, Missouri, died on January 10, 2015. He was born on December 10, 1924 in Waverly, Illinois, the son of Harry L. Baggerly and Lucy Merle Baggerly, on a farm south of Springfield, Illinois. After starting a family, he moved to Palmyra, Missouri where he lived for over 41 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clarence Baggerly and sisters, Betty Graegin and Linda Sue Baggerly. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, his son, two brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He served in the Merchant Marines, in the South Pacific, during World War II and is a member of the American Legion and Masonic Lodge. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. January 15, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Raymore, Missouri. Graveside services: 3:00 p.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri.
