Father: Lamasters Boggs; Mother: Susan Neff;
Husband: William A. Franke
Research note from contributor #48985354:
Daisy was the daughter of an unknown Mr. Johnson and (possibly) Susan Neff. After her birth, Susan Neff married LeMasters Martin Boggs. In the 1880 US census record, the three of them are listed, with Daisy identified as Daisy Johnson. In the 1897 MO Marriage Records for her marriage to John Willis Coffee, she is still identified as Daisy M. Johnson, so it is clear that LeMasters did not adopt her (i.e., her maiden name was not Boggs). I have not discovered the name of her birth father, Mr. Johnson, nor have I found a Find A Grave record for him. On the other hand, in the SSA Applications and Claims Index, LeMasters and Susan are identified as her parents. LeMasters was not her biological father.
