He was born July 4, 1897, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shetzer (Mary Luce). He attended Portage School and Bowling Green State University. Mr. Shetzer was retired contractor and was asssociated with the Shetzer Insurance Co., and the Shetzer Laundromat, both in Clyde.
Also suviving are his wife, five sons, a daughter and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Mictchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde, with burial in Green Lawn Memory Gardens, near Clyde.
