Mrs. James Reid, (Evah M Shetzer), 78. died Friday in Community Nursing Home, where is was a patient for many years.
A member of the Alliance Church, Mrs. Reid, worked many years as a cook for Bowling Green State University fraternities and sororities.
Born on Oct 17, 1895 in Monclova to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shetzer (Mary Jane Luce), she married Mr. Reid and he survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Ralph, Clyde; George, Cedarville, Mich., and James, Dunbridge; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Blair, and Mrs. Roger (Nan) Horner, both of Bowling Green; Mrs. James (Alice) Claybaugh, Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs Leonard (Helen) McElwee, Lima, 18 grandchildren, three brother, one sister and two great grandchildren preceded her in death.
The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Deck Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Redman officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
