BURIED 2nd SEPTEMBER 1918 IN ST. MICHAEL'S (CATHOLIC) CEMETERY, SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS - Anna was born the 18th September 1885 in East Constable, Franklin County, New York the 3rd of 11 known children of Francois Xavier Poirier, Sr. aka Peach and Emma Durocher. She moved with her family to Springfield, Massachusetts circa 1892. She married Harry E. Southard, son of Walter Southard and Anna Moran in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts on the 3rd September 1907. The couple had no known children. Anna died from the Influenza epidemic and Pneumonia, housewife, age 33 years in her home.

Following death notice appeared in a local Springfield newspaper:

DIED: Southland - In this city, 28th, Annie Peach, wife of Harry Southland. Funeral from her residence at 33 Bancroft Street today, Monday at 8 am. A mass of requiem will be held in St. Thomas's Church, 8:30 am, with friends invited. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Springfield
