Born 1902, the 11th child of Francois Xavier "Oliver" Poirier aka Peach and Emma Delima Durocher of Springfield. The Poirier aka Peach family was of St. Anicet,Quebec>Constable, NY area previous to Ma. The family surname changed from the French version of POIRIER to PEACH circa 1840. While most public state records show the surname Peach, church records record the original French surname Poirier. Blanche married James (NMN) Crawford in Springfield on 16 September 1922. Couple resided in Springfield, Agawam, and West Springfield over the years. Together they raised 4 children; Robert Edmund, Beverly Jean, James William, and William Donaldson Crawford.
