Lloyd H. Vining, 81, died Friday in Jay County
Hospital, Portland. He was born in Muncie and
moved here in 1975 from Parker City, where
he had lived for 31 years. He attended Muncie
city schools. He was a stock chaser at
Chevrolet-Muncie (now New Venture Gear)
before retiring in 1969 after working there for
23 years. He was a member of Eagles Lodge
231 of Muncie, Avondale Sympathy Club,
United Auto Workers Local 499 and XYZ (Extra
Years of Zest) Club. A son, Billy Ray Vining,
died in 1961. Two brothers and two sisters are
also deceased. Burial will be in Beech Grove
Cemetery, Muncie.
