Mrs. Sarah J. Vining, 50, wife of John Vining, died in the family home, 804 West Twelfth St., at 6:30 a.m., Friday, following a year's illness. The body was taken to Hampton mortuary and will be removed to the home this evening. Funeral services will be conducted in the Beech Grove Chapel, at 2 p.m., Monday. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Surviving are seven children, Don, Anna, Loren, Harry and Helen, at home; William, of Honolulu; Mrs. Delphia Bell, of Muncie, and Mrs. Lydia Runyon, of Dayton, O., and the mother, Mrs. Rebecca Utiner, of Muncie.

husband being Alex Utinger. Alex and Rebecca were witnesses to Sarah's marriage to John Vining on 14Apr1897 in Adams, Indiana.
After Sarah died, most of her children went to
live with other people.
