Ingeborg Larsgaard Loe died October 20, 1927, at her home north of Sanish, ND. She was born in Gol, Hallingdal, Norway, on July 30, 1884, one of nine children born to Lars and Margit Larsgaard. She was raised on the Larsgaard farm near Hovet. She immigrated to the United State on the Ivernia from Christiania, Norway, arriving in Boston on October 25, 1906. Her travel companion was Lukris Sletto Nygaard, a friend from Norway. She initially stayed with her brother, Gunvald Larsgaard, on his farm near Petersburg, Nelson County, ND. In February 1910, she purchased land near Ross, ND. On September 17, 1911, she married Henry Hanson Loe in Stanley, ND. Henry had a farm north of Ross. They lived near Ross, White Earth, and most recently north of Sanish, ND.

Ingeborg is survived by her husband; four daughters - Maude, age 16; Mildred, age 13; Ruth, age 9; and Vivian, age 2; five sons - Torgny, age 15; Sidney, age 11; Elgin, age 7; Amber, age 4; and Karl, age 9 months, all of Sanish, ND. Her mother, Margit; three sisters - Birgit, Sunnov, and Jorand; three brothers - Hans, Ola, and Torgeir, all of Norway; and one brother, Gunvald, of rural Petersburg, ND. She also has several aunts, uncles and cousins living in North Dakota and Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her father, Lars (1842-1926); one sister - Margit (1891-1893); her paternal grandparents, Sunnov and Gunvald Syvershaugen; and maternal grandparents, Hans and Birgit Larsgaard.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 22, 1927; Reverend Lewis officiated. She was buried at the Sanish Riverview Cemetery. (Her children were told that her death was caused by metastatic carcinoma.)
