"Funeral Services for long-time Fallon resident E. Alvin Fowler, 86, will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at the Austin, Matson and Smith Funeral home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Chavez of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Fallon Cemetery.
He died April 8, 1987 at a Fallon care center. Born May 14, 1900 in Arcadia, Nebraska, he was a retired rancher. He lived in Fallon from 1937 to 1943 and then returned to Fallon in 1954.
Survivors include sons and daughters, Beulah Testolin of Austin, Alma Singleton of Kirkland, Wash., Harris Fowler of Wenatchee, Wash., Yvette Carey of Fallon, Theda Roper of Carson City and Harold Fowler of Phoenix, Ariz., sister Lettie Parker of Crosbyton, Texas; brother Elgin Fowler of Portales, New Mexico; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
