On October 15, 1902, Isaiah J Nihiser married Rosetta "Rosa" Williams in Greenwood County, Kansas. (ref: Book F55) She was the daughter of Cyrus Benton Williams and Nancy Jane (Gleason) Williams, of Toronto, Woodson County, Kansas. The couple first made their home in Salt Springs, Greenwood County, soon moving to 508 N Sycamore, Iola, Allen County, Kansas. Isaiah was a foreman for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad. They wound up in Toronto, Woodson County, Kansas, and in their retirement they resided with their youngest daughter, and then her daughter Barbara Lucille (Pegram) Patterson (Mrs. David F).
After Toronto, Isaiah and Rosa lived in Miami, Dade County, Florida with Barbara, and then later moved to Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada.
Isaiah and Rosetta were the parents of Cyrus Oscar, Phemia G (Mrs. Marck Eddy Shepard), Stella Louise (Mrs. Lyman Leroy Adams), Clarice V (Mrs. Lewis Zimmerman, and Mary Anna (Mrs. George Pegram).
