Ruth Booth, 81, of 108 West Washington St., Champaign, will be at 1 P.M. Wednesday at the Owens Funeral Home, 101 N. Elm St. Champaign. The Rev. Morris Christman will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana, Illinois. Mrs. Booth died at 1:07 A.M. Monday (December 4, 1995) at the Carle Arbours, Savoy.
Theresa "Ruth", daughter of Lewis and Maude (Reed) Nihiser was born April 4, 1913, in Dalton City, Illinois. She married Kenneth "Earl" Shadow April 11, 1929, in Lake City, Illinois. They were later divorced. She married John Booth on March 8, 1968 in Decatur, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Margaret Walker of Mount Zion, IL and Doris Robbins of Waterloo, Iowa. A son, Robert (Ruth) Shadow of Minnesota; many granchildren and great-grandchildren. She was proceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Leona Ruth Shadow, two sons, Everett Grant and Harry Wayne Shadow. A grandson, Grant Matthew Shadow.
