She was the daughter of the late Robert "Ira" Whitesides and the late Muriel Cloninger Kelly.
She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Gastonia. She was a loving mother and a wonderful home maker.
Mrs. Bostic is survived by: her sons, Marion Ramey and Spouse, Marty of Dallas, Norman Ramey and spouse, Chae of Killeen, Tx., Gene Ramey and spouse, Tammy of Kings Mountain, Tim Rameyof Dallas, Ben Bostic of Fort Mill, S.C.; daughter, Joann Scruggs of Lincolnton; brothers, Novak Whitesides and spouse, Linda of Gastonia, Hugh Whitesides of Spartanburg, S.C.; sister, Iris Thomas of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Tricia, Mike, Brenda, Billy, Paula, Tim Jr, Jason, Stephen, Amber, Monique, Thomas; great grandchildren, Jared, Abby, Makenzi, Brandon, Braylan, Austin, Jonah, Carter, Jada, Jenna; Beloved Aunt, Sue Rhyne of Gastonia.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Bostic was preceded in death by: her husband, C. B. Bostic; brother, Robert "Sonny" Whitesides; sister, Jo Davidson, brother, Larry Whitesides.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Grace Baptist Church, Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Joseph Hensley. The family will receive friends 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, and other times at the home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer City.
