Emily Elizabeth Caldwell Rhodes, Fayetteville, died Feb. 21, 2010. She received her master's degree from North Georgia College. She had worked with Georgia Mountain Crafts in Gainesville, and was retired from Hall County's Sardis Church Elementary School. She loved to travel and had been to Canada, Africa, China and Europe and Australia four times. Graveside services were at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Alvaton, with the Rev. Miriam Beecher officiating.

Survivors include son, Leland I. and Pam Rhodes; a daughter, Kathie and John Manes; grandsons, Jack and Barb Manes, Mike and Laura Manes; a granddaughter, Lauren Rhodes; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Manes, and Anna Manes. Memorial donations may be given to Eagle Ranch, P. O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502, or the Hal Rhodes III Scholarship Fund, North Georgia College, 70 Alumni Dr., Dahlonega, GA 30522. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
