John Tannahill, died at Trout River PQ, age 79 years.
Mr. Tannahill was born at Trout River PQ on Aug. 27,1846. He was married on December the 17th, 1873, to Mary Caldwell, of Kensington PQ. She died Feb. 24th, 1907. Four children were born to them, three survive them, John James, who carries on the farm, Miss Eliza C. Tannahill, of Montreal, Mrs. Rev. J. G. Fulcher, of Shawinigan Falls PQ, one son, William, died a few years ago. The funeral service was held at the Kensington Methodist Church on May 13th and conducted by Rev. E. E. Mowatt, united Church minister, assisted by Rev. D. T. Irwin Forsythe.
