Robert was the son of George Miller and Jane Gordon. He married on August 1st 1901 Lillie Coltrane, per ancestry.com they had 11 known children, Elsie May, Iola Ray, Alta Louise, Robert Baxter Jr., Daphne Valerie, Lillie Lucille, David Arnold, Mildred Cathllen, Edgar Coltrane and Edith Madge. The last three children all died as infants. Death certificates states burial at Green Hill Cemetery .
