Hannah Celestia Devey Bennett, 85, died peacefully May 9, 1995 in American Fork following a short illness.

She was born January 1, 1910 in Garland, Utah to John Devey, Jr. and Olive Marsh, the sixth of 11 children. She married Karl Holman Bennett October 1, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 13, 1973. She was an active member of the LDS Church.Survived by her children: Geraldine B. "Geri" and Ralph Pratt, American Fork; Donald M and Enid Bennett, Salt Lake; Carole B. and Bruce Walker, Harrisville, Utah; Susan B. and Gardner Harris, Garden Grove, Calif; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; a brother and three sisters: Ervin M. Devey, Arvilla D. Jenkins, both of El Monte, Calif; Lavon "Bonnie" D. Clark, Lehi; Blanche D. Shattuck, Covina, Calif.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork, where friends may call Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
