Warner M. Baxley
MULLINS — Mr. Warner M. Baxley 75, a prominent farmer in the Penderboro Community of Marion County, died Monday, August 6, 2007, in Carolinas Hospital System in Florence after an illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, at Reedy Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Darrell Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Creek Cemetery, directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home of Marion.
Visitation will be held in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the funeral services.
Mr. Baxley was born July 18, 1932, in Marion County, a son of the late Robert Harlee Baxley and the late Anna Coleman Baxley. He was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Baxley was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Gail Thomas Baxley.
Surviving Mr. Baxley are: 2 daughters, Nancy B. Jordan and her husband Jimmy of Marion, and Vicki B. Holt and her husband Billy of Greenville; 4 grandchildren, Jamon Jodan and Rebecca Jordan, both of Marion, and Will Holt and Hannah Holt, both of Greenville; his children, Regina Richardson, Michael Baxley and Michelle Baxley ; a sister, Carolyn B. Thomas and her husband Howard of Mullins; and a brother, Milton Baxley and his wife Dorothy of Mullins.
Mr. Baxley was also predeceased by 4 brothers, Hubert Baxley, Harris Baxley Virginia Williams and Elizabeth Stackhouse.
