Son of Harley and Annie Coleman Baxley, husband of Anna Elizabeth Coleman Baxley.

MARION - Robert Harlee Baxley, 76, died Friday in a local hospital. Funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Smith Brothers Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Reedy Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Baxley was a son of the late Harley and Annie Coleman Baxley of Marion County. He was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Anna Elizabeth Coleman Baxley of Marion; four daughters, Mrs. C. L. Stackhouse, Mrs. M. R. Shelley, Mrs. J. P. Williams and Mrs. Howard Thomas, all of Marion; six sons, Hubert Willis Baxley, C. Harris Baxley, E. Milton Baxley, James R. Baxley, Thomas Griffin Baxley and Warner M. Baxley, all of Marion; and four sisters, Mrs. L. S. Shelley, Mrs. J. G. Tanner and Mrs. Daisy B. Tanner, all of Marion, and Mrs. Sallie McIntyre of Mullins.
