Mary Elizabeth (Bradley) Williams, 80, of Paintsville, died Thursday, January 22, 1998, at Highlands Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 22, 1917, in Johnson County, the daughter of Fred Baldwin and Frances Sublett Baldwin.

She was a clerk for Murphy County. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Frederick G. Bradley. She is survived by her husband, Bert Williams; threes brothers, Bob Baldwin of Carey, Ohio; and Buster Baldwin and Frederick Baldwin, both of Paintsville; four sisters, Enola Mae Webb of West Van Lear, Mabel Spears of Paintsville; and Catherine West and Irene Zwolle, both of Marion, Ohio; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were January 25, at the Southside Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Edward J. Young and Dick VanHoose officiating and Jones-Preston Funeral Home caring for those arrangements. Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
